AURORA BEACH COTTAGE

Wild, natural scenes viewed from every part of the
cottage. The ever changing mood of the ocean.
All viewed from within a secluded, intimate and
romantic retreat that exudes charm and personality
and makes guest feel like family members.
A truly Tasmanian experience.

Never thought I could feel so comfortable in
another person’s home. So much history here of
happy days and good times, not just by the owners
but by all the people who have been able to share
this special place. As a keen gardener I’m amazed
how a sand dune has become a wonderful garden
against the odds.

Pete and Jude

We too, have a dream similar to this masterpiece
and we came to Tassie to research possibilities and
options, but now we are not sure if anything can
even compare to such a wonderful piece of paradise.
Inspired, breathless, in awe and totally gobsmacked
are some the words that will never mean enough to
describe what we are feeling. Thank you for your
dedication and for sharing this with others.

Simon and Jessica

Aurora exceeded our expectations. What an
unbelievably private and wonderful property this is.
An unforgettable start to our honeymoon. In fact,
we worry we have set ourselves up for
disappointment anywhere else.

Dave and Sherrin

Five beautiful days at Aurora except for the two
days of rain but bad weather at Aurora is better
than premium weather anywhere else.

Sandra and James

They say Tasmania has it all. It certainly does.
It has Aurora.

Geoff and Denise

We came, two years ago and the memory became
like a warm secret, spoken of between us with a
mutual longing to return. We did. Those warm
memories now enhanced, warmer and more firmly
fixed. How often we said “I just love this place”.

Barry and Alison

An inspiring natural haven. Thank Goodness they still
exist. The cottage was our home for 3 nights and I
could live here forever. I have travelled all over the
world and Aurora is truely unique in today’s crazy
world. Thank you for sharing your treasured secret
with us.

Janine and Michael

We feel privileged to have stayed in this
wonderfully original cottage filled with heart and
soul. This is more than a rental property - it’s a
home of great warmth and character totally at
peace with its serene and natural environment. The
kitchen knives and other bits tell you a good chef
has gone before you and the furniture, books and
prints belie an artistic bent. We played tennis,
fished in the lagoon and read by the fire. Standing
on the deck, taking in one final long gaze across the
beach and bay before we left - a marvellous bonus.
Three pods of dolphin, about 20 in all, diving and
playing right in front of “our beach”. It doesn’t get
much better than this.

Peter and Charlotte

What a place ! Words just can’t describe the wonder
of this beautiful cottage and the view. This is
definitely one of the best places I have visited in
the world.

Kitti

Thank you for sharing your private slice of heaven.
This has t rate as the best place to stay in Tassie.
We had balmy, sunny weather in the middle of
winter. A 2 hour drive from the airport and it’s like
a different country.

Mel and Stuart

A wonderful place on a magnificent site. Aurora is
clearly the result of a clear vision and labour of love.

John, Ann and Ollie

Beautifully designed cottage, excellent views, beach,
National Park, birds, privacy. A rare find.

Sue and Peter

Aurora reminds me of all the simple and truly
beautiful pleasure in life. Warmth, nature, friends,
love and a clear pure sunrise.

Jen Robinson

Book early cos I’m telling everyone.

Alan

We could go on about the wonderful time we had and
how we didn’t want to leave but Aurora doesn’t need
further recommendation. It speaks for itself.
The attention to detail, coupled with the cottage’s
location is outstanding.

Robyn and Lyndon

No words can adequately express the peace and
tranquility of Aurora’s magic. From the moment we
entered the cottage if was far above our
expectations.

Jeunesse

A jewel in the crown of the East Coast of Tasmania.

Carol and Harry

Feels like staying at a friend’s place. We should have
more friends like you guys. Great CDs, unique
shower and you’ve really thought about what people
want in a kitchen. It’s all the little thoughtful
things that make Aurora great.

Sonia and Damien

Truly sensational ! A testament to the great
imagination, enthusiasm, hard work and skill of
Aurora’s creators/custodians. A healing and
inspiring place to stay.

Julie and Eric

As soon as we arrived we knew we would return.
Such was the impact of a stunning sunny day,
peaceful and perfect location and a cottage filled
with so much character and good vibes. Walking
along the deserted beach we felt the tensions
dissolve and a spot of tennis provided many a laugh.
Do we have to leave ?
